As you may have noticed, there’s a Luxembourgish recipe missing in Jürgen Barth’s book, *La Course au Menu* (see http://schnell-mal-essen.de/fr/).
At every racetrack where Jürgen has been on the starting plot —including Le Mans and the 24 Hours—a recipe has crowned his success. It will be the turn of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and the Goodyear Circuit in Colmar-Berg (thanks to the D4M POWERED BY RACING LEGENDS event on Sunday, September 6) to host the 25th—Luxembourgish—recipe in Jürgen’s book!

Dinner with legendary driver Jürgen Barth.
So the story goes
Back in the days, when drivers and their mechanics gathered for the 24-hour race, meals were usually an afterthought, and many brought their own “sandwiches” from home… After 12 hours of racing, those sandwiches weren’t very appetizing anymore, so a solution had to be found to refuel the teams and provide them with protein. “Eat local” was the motto! Compiling these specialties into a cookbook is a wonderful way to share the racing experiences on the circuits and that’s just what Jürgen did!
How to Reserve
Reservation and price include an aperitif + a 3-course gourmet dinner + a numbered copy of the insert featuring the selected recipe, signed by Jürgen Barth (mailed couple of weeks after the event):
€125 per guest
A superb selection of Luxembourg wines will be available (optional and not included in the price of the gourmet dinner or related fees)
The program
At 6:45 p.m., all guests will gather at GRIDX, which is kindly providing free open-air parking in front of the halls. An aperitif will be offered.
At 7:30 p.m., we’ll sit down to dinner, and the first course will be served immediately (probably Feierstengzalot), followed by an assortment of Luxembourgish sausages and meats, pan-fried potatoes, and fresh vegetables from our gardens. The Luxembourgish dessert will feature a delightful surprise: a reimagined traditional Luxembourgish recipe.
At the end of the third course, each guest will vote for their favorite dish; the selected dish will be announced at the end of the evening and included as the 25th recipe in Jürgen’s book.
Each guest who participated in the voting will receive, a few weeks after the dinner, a signed and numbered insert copy from Jürgen.
The evening will end around 9:30 p.m., just in time to get a good night’s rest for the next day’s RACING LEGENDS.
(By the way: you can stay overnight and be accommodated at the NOTO Hotel)

Whether it’s for one, two, or a table of friends… reservations take just 2 minutes and cost 125 EUR per guest (100 EUR goes to GRIDX, 25 EUR covers the numbered insert that each guest will receive a few weeks after the dinner, and the remainder supports activities for children with cancer
